Prescription Julep

This classic comes directly from the first cocktail book ever printed, back in 1862. A hint of nuttiness gives way to an all-around satisfying drink. No wonder this recipe has stuck around.

Ingredients

  • 3 Mint Sprigs
  • 0.25 Ozs Demerara Syrup
  • 1.5 Ozs Ansac Vs
  • 0.5 Ozs Old Overholt Rye
  • 1 Mint Sprig Garnish

Method

  1. In a Julep Cup
  2. Gentle Muddle
  3. Add Crushed Ice, Swizzle
  4. Top W/ Crushed Ice
