One of the great old drinks, with the recipe dating to 1862. it's just the right combination of tart, stiff, refreshing and a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 Demerara Sugar
  • 2 Ozs Ansac Vs
  • 0.25 Ozs Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
  • 0.5 Ozs Lemon
  • 0.25 Ozs Simple Syrup (1:1)
  • 1 Dash Angostura
  • 1 Lemon Twist Garnish

Method

  1. In a Big Brandy Snifter
  2. Rim With
  3. Into a Shaker
  4. Add Ice, Shake, And Strain
  5. Into a Big Brandy Snifter
